There are no indications that the vehicle with ammunition seized in Maranhão belongs to the MST

Video circulating on social media shows an overturned vehicle and hundreds of weapons and ammunition scattered on the road. The publications suggest that the car belongs to the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST). The information is false. Federal Highway Police and Civil Police of Maranhão state that there is no evidence that the vehicle belongs to the MST.

A survey by FGV School of Communication, Media, and Information (FGV ECMI), which analyzed publications in 669 Telegram groups and channels, between May 13 and 23, showed that this message was shared 247 times.
