The president of the Superior Electoral Court (Tribunal Superior Eleitoral – TSE), Justice Alexandre de Moraes, said this Tuesday (21) that, over time, the TSE has understood how disinformation works on social media in order to create methods to fight it in electoral disputes.
“We have been learning since the elections in 2018, 2020 and 2022; now, under the presidency of Justice Cármen Lúcia, we will apply that knowledge”, said Moraes when explaining the operation of Ciedde during a seminar on artificial intelligence at the Court. “Certainly, in the 2026 elections, we will take a new step with our partners, the institutions (.) We must unite, organize and expand the administrative and legislative defenses in order to enforce legal decisions.”
